Organization background of IRC
Vision,Goal and objectives
This organization, founded by Muslims in February 03rd 2020 and registered at the district level in Mbale, was established by Imams, Sheikhs, and community leaders from Mbale It conducts activities including Orphan Care, Water Aid, Livelihood, Ramadan, Qurbani, Emergency Relief,Masjid, and Dawah Programs throughout Uganda.
The primary objective of the organization is "A Better World For The Needy" and fostering the spiritual strengthening of Islamic morals. IRC programs are designed to effectively address the immediate basic needs of vulnerable households while laying the groundwork for sustainable livelihoods recovery and economic development. IRC consistently advocates for vulnerable populations in times of need and is among the first responders to provide assistance. Staff members, alongside local community volunteers, conduct comprehensive house-to-house surveys to identify appropriate beneficiaries, prioritizing the most affected families. The involvement of local volunteers ensures that aid reaches genuinely impacted households.
Vision of IRC
To serve the needy within communities—including refugees, orphans, widows, the elderly, and persons with disabilities—by facilitating access to essential services and enabling them to live dignified, meaningful lives while realizing their full potential, irrespective of their circumstances.

Committed to empowering vulnerable communities through comprehensive support that enables access to basic services, helping individuals cope with their situations while providing knowledge, skills, and counseling to restore holistic hope.
Goal and Objectives of IRC
To enhance the purchasing power of vulnerable populations to secure food and essential non-food items.
To alleviate pressure on local social support systems.
To prevent the decline of health and nutrition within affected communities.
To increase income for individuals, local farmers, and households.
To reduce incidents of gender-based violence among local populations.
MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP
IRC is governed by a board comprising nine members, led by the Board Chairman, who is elected at the annual general meeting, and the Executive Director, who oversees the administrative functions of the organization.
